Two days before his 70th birthday, Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy gave each constituent five kilos of rice, some financial aid wheelchairs to those in need during a special edition of ‘People’s Day’ on Wednesday, July 3.

 

The ‘People’s Day’ program held every Wednesday of the week at City Hall grounds is a hallmark of the Klarex administration’s commitment to bring governmet closer to the people (ang katawhan duol sa gobyerno, the gobyerno duol sa katawhan) by opening its doors to them and ensuring direct action on their immediate concerns and needs for essential services.(NLB/CIO/photos by Reynan Baylin/CIO)
