FOR their final regular Monday afternoon (Feb. 23) session in February this year, the 21st City Council approved Sangguniang Kabataan Annual Budgets as well as the preliminary subdivision development plan of the Cagayan de Oro Resettlement and Socialized Housing Project.

 

Approved resolutions and ordinances were the following:

 

1. Proposed Resolution Nos. 2026-247-2026-248-Declaring as operative the respective Sangguniang Kabataan Annual Budgets for CY 2026 of Barangay Puerto and Barangay Tagpangi, Cagayan de Oro City, effective on the dates fixed therein.

 

2. Proposed Ordinance No. 2025-202-Approving the Preliminary Subdivision Development Plan of the Cagayan de Oro Resettlement and Socialized Housing Project 1, Phase 3 Extension in Barangay Canitoan, subject to the conditions imposed by the concerned city offices.

 

3. Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-203-Authorizing the City Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy to enter into and sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the Social Security System for the implementation of SSS coverage and membership for Job Order Workers and Contract of Service Personnel of the City Government under the Self-Employed Program.

 

4. Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-204-Authorizing Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy to enter into and sign a Deed of Usufruct with the Bureau of Fire Protection for the use of a City-owned property in Barangay Macabalan as the site of the proposed upgrading of the Macabalan Fire Station under the terms and conditions stipulated therein.

 

5. Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-205-Approving the application of APB Promotion to conduct a Bullstag Derby on March 21, 2026 at Indahag Square Garden, Barangay Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. (MDS/CIO/Photos by: Jomar Figuracion/CIO)
