THE annual Inter-Department Sports Festival opened on Wednesday, Feb. 25 with an exhibition match between the Executive Team and the Legislative team at the City Hall Quadrangle.

 

The match was watched personally by Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy who showed full support for the teams and launched the festival to build camaraderie among employees and their department managers.

 

In the exhibition game, the legislative team consisting of the city councilors and staff won over the executive team comprised of City Hall’s department managers with a score of 60-45.

 

Representing the Executive Department Heads were Jade Adeser of the City Information Office, Bernie Daba of Agricultural Productivity Operations Office (APOO), Engr. Ardines Cabrera of the City Planning Development Offics, Dr. Michael June Perez of JRBGH, City Legal Officer Atty. Kenneth Tamala, Atty. Jeffrey Namalata of CGSO, Rico Libre from the City Administrator’s Office, Allan Fernandez, Branch Manager of CEEBDA, and Alby Cris Waga of the City Sports Office.

 

On the Legislative side, Councilor Maximo 'Jonjon' Rodriguez III, Councilor Paolo Nicolo Gaane, and Councilor Moreno Daba IV led the roster, joined by members of the legislative staff.
