The Cooperative Development Authority of the Philippines (CDA), in partnership with the Community Improvement Division headed by Honorio G. Diputado Jr. along with Cooperative Development Officer Rodger M. Zerna, joins the Cooperative Information Caravan & Compliance Drive 2026 at ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative Bldg. at Barangay Bulua on Friday (March 6).
Participants from Cagayan de Oro–based cooperative groups gathered to hear information updates about research, info, & trainings, cooperative projects development, organization of Credit Surety Fund (CSF) registration section, legal section, cooperative supervision & examination, discover new initiatives, and the implemented memorandum circular presented by the Cooperative Development Authority.
City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario P. Raagas, who delivered Mayor Rolando Uy’s message, cited the significance of cooperatives as partners in shaping up the future, and strengthening the local economy and community.
The program ended with cooperative leaders and member groups engaging in meaningful discussions on upholding cooperative laws, ensuring transparent financial practices, and strengthening accountability through their yearly compliance obligations. (LRM/CIO photos by Reynan Baylin)
