CAGAYAN de Oro City Hall’s Community Improvement Division (CID) sponsored a two-day seminar on the Fundamentals of Cooperative and Good Governance for the city’s transport cooperatives that ended Wednesday, Apr. 29.

 

The seminar sponsored through the CID’s Cooperative Development Program was attended by the board of directors and members of the Canitoan Transport Cooperative (CATRANCO) and Balulang Transport Cooperative.

 

The CID’s acting department manager Honorio G. Diputado, City Cooperative Development Officer Rodger M. Zerna and Sophia A. Castillo tackled issues ranging from cooperative principles, accountability, and leadership practices.

 

The two-day activity is geared towards providing transport cooperatives with tools for transparency, efficiency, and community‑oriented service while positioning them as key partners in bringing sustainable urban mobility and inclusive economic growth. (LRM/CIO Photos from CID)
