The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) CDO-Mis Or Chapter held its 2nd KBP Golden Friendship Awards on April 26, Sunday, at Dynasty Court Hotel in celebration of National Broadcasters Month.

 

The event recognized outstanding local broadcasters and media practitioners for excellence in journalism and public service.

 

KBP Chairman Dr. Ronnie M. Waniwan led the ceremony, joined by City Information Officer Jade Adeser, representing City Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy.

 

In his message, Waniwan highlighted the media’s crucial role in delivering accurate information, especially amid the rise of misinformation on digital platforms.

 

The city government was also honored with a plaque of appreciation for its strong partnership with KBP, in support for media initiatives, and commitment to public information.

Best & Fearless Commentator of the Year: Manny Agustero - Magnum Rapido (Magnum Radyo)

Best AM Station: RMN DXCC

Best FM News & Music Station: Magnum Radyo

Best FM Station: Heart FM

Broadcaster of the Year: Joel Jacobo - Magnum In Action (Magnum Radyo)
