THE 28th regular meeting of the Out-of-School Youth Development Alliance (OSYDA) presided by Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation President Kenneth John Sacala on Thursday, May 21, at the City Session Hall brought some good news for the city's out-of-school sector.
Thursday’s update highlighted the implementation of the Learning to Earning Pathways (LEaP) Programme in Cagayan de Oro and across five pilot cities. The program is aimed at connecting youth directly to opportunities such as employment and education.
The OSYDA also reported on the success of their overseas training program, outlining the achievements of local agriculture interns who recently had an immersive training opportunity in Taiwan. (NLB/CIO/photos by Iren Fuentes/CIO)
