THE Cagayan de Oro Archery Club brought home five medals, three golds and two silvers from the World Archery Philippines (WAP), Philippine Archery Championships (PAC) and Philippine Youth Archery Championships (PYAC) held in Sorsogon City.

 

The club’s strong performance showcased the talent and determination of its athletes on the national stage.

 

Leading the medal haul were the Datiles brothers with Lester Ian Datiles winning the gold medal in the Qualification Round (QR) of the PAC Open Division, while Kerwin Ian Datiles secured the gold medal in the QR and silver medal in the Olympic Round (OR) of the U17 Boys’ Youth Division.

 

Also adding to the club’s medal haul were Moira Julianne Cadavez who snagged the gold medal in the OR of the U15 Girls’ Youth Division during her debut appearance in a WAP national tournament.

 

Alyssa Beatriz Altares, together with Kerwin Ian Datiles, also earned a silver medal in the U17 Mixed Team Event, completing the club’s impressive five-medal campaign. (MDS/CIO/Photos Courtesy of the CDO City Sports Office)
