CAGAYAN de Oro City Hall joined the celebration of World Blood Donor Day 2026 through an Advocacy Run organized by the Department of Health Center for Health Development-Northern Mindanao (DOH CHD-NM) at the Rio de Oro Boulevard.

 

The activity highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and recognized the life-saving contributions of blood donors in ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply for communities.

 

City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas took part in the event to demonstrate the city’s support for initiatives that promote public health and community welfare.

 

The celebration also gathered health advocates, government officials, and partner organizations in a collective effort to encourage more individuals to become regular blood donors.
