THE last regular Monday afternoon session for July by the 21st City Council concluded with the approval of key resolutions and ordinances covering simple subdivision plans, city partnerships, and other essential measures.

 

Presided over by Vice Mayor Jocelyn 'Bebot' Rodriguez, the City Council approved the following agenda items:

 

1.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-340-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 700-square-meter property in Barangay Canitoan into two lots, subject to CHUDD, City Planning, and City Engineer requirements.

 

2.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-341-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 548-square-meter property in Barangay Canitoan into three lots, subject to city requirements.

 

3.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-342-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 154-square-meter property in Barangay Macasandig into two lots, subject to city requirements.

 

4.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-343-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 470-square-meter property in Barangay Mambuaya into two lots, subject to city requirements.

 

5.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-344-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 270-square-meter property in Barangay Kauswagan into four lots, subject to city requirements.

 

6.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-345-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 712-square-meter property in Barangay Canitoan into two lots, subject to city requirements.

 

7.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-346-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 1,572-square-meter property in Barangay Canitoan into ten lots for the Impantao Urban Poor Homeowners Association Inc., subject to city requirements.

 

8.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-347-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 608-square-meter property in Barangay Canitoan into three lots, subject to city requirements.

 

9.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-348-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 382-square-meter property in Barangay Canitoan into two lots, subject to city requirements.

 

10.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-349-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 1,465-square-meter property in Barangay Lumbia into four lots, subject to city requirements.

 

11.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-350-Approved the simple subdivision plan of a 1,944-square-meter property in Barangay Bayabas into ten lots, subject to city requirements.

 

12.Proposed Resolution No. 2026-370-Declared July 12 of every year as South China Sea Arbitral Award Day in Cagayan de Oro City and encouraged barangays to hold commemorative activities.

 

13.Proposed Resolution No. 2026-371-Declared Canadian vlogger Scoot Finneran Douglas, also known as ‘Regular Guy,’ Persona Non Grata in Cagayan de Oro City for content deemed offensive and degrading to Filipinas.

 

14.Proposed Ordinance No. 2026-351-Authorized Mayor Rolando A. Uy to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. for the hosting of the 35th Mindanao Business Conference on August 11-13, 2026. (MDS/CIO/Photos by:Jomar Figuracion/CIO)
