WEST CITY CENTRAL SCHOOL WON 'BANGGA SA DAYGON' TOP PRIZE

West City Central School won the P55,000 first prize in this year's 'Bangga sa Daygon,' a choral group contest held at the activity center in Limketkai Mall last Friday, December 9, 2022.
 
The elementary students of WCCS sang a medley of Christmas song, beginning with a wonderful blend of "Mary, Did You Know?" and "Born on Christmas Day", and ending it with the classic "Ang Pasko ay Sumapit."
Following the champion group were Gusa Elementary School as second placer (P35,000) and Macanhan Elementary School as third placer (P25,000).
 
Gusa Elementary School also won the ‘Best Conductor’ special award. Each of the above-mentioned winners also received a trophy.
A consolation prize worth P5,000 was also given to the other three choral groups who competed in the contest, namely: Fr. William F. Masterson, SJ Elementary School; Bugo Central School; and Puerto Elementary School. (JAS-CIO/Photos from City Tourism Office)
