The City Government, through the City Tourism Office, is looking into possibilities to turn the Bell Church in Barangay Macasandig as one of the tourist destinations in Cagayan de Oro City.

 

According to City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas, the City Tourism Office, led by Acting City Tourism Officer Rico Libre, will be coordinating with the local Filipino-Chinese community on this endeavor.

 

He further said it will be like the Taoist Temple in Beverly Hills Subdivision in Cebu City wherein even non-believers of this religion visit this famous religious site.

"Usa na siya gaadtoan sa mga tao as part of the tourist circuit nila," Atty. Raagas said.

 

"Mao na nga in coordination sa atong local Filipino-Chinese community, sila si Rico Libre apil si John Asuncion, atong head sa Oro-TIPC, ila nang galantawon nga apil sa mga madad-an nato sa atong mga bisita, dili lang sa City Museum, Museo de Oro sa Xavier, ug sa Museum of Three Cultures sa Capitol University, apil usab kanang Bell Church later on mahimo na nga tourist destination sa atong mga bisita," he added.
