The Local School Board (LSB), chaired by City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy and co-chaired by City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Roy Angelo Gazo, has approved its revised annual budget amounting to P365 million during its regular monthly meeting held at the City Mayor’s Office conference room on Tuesday, October 29.
Aside from the usual school buildings and classrooms construction in both elementary and high schools, among the notable projects to be implemented by the body next year are the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence laboratory at City Central School and the Smart Classroom – Carmen Science High School, e-Storya software development, purchase of instructional and information technology equipment, among others.
