Cagayan de Oro City has been hailed as 'Digital Champion' together with 13 other cities all over the country.

 

This was revealed by City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario P. Raagas, who received the award in behalf of City Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy on Friday, November 15, 2024 during the MBC Business-Government Partnership Forum and the MBC, USAID and KAF / Konrad Adenauer Foundation Digital Governance Awards event at the Hilton Manila.

 

US Ambassador Marykay Carlson, Makati Business Club Chair Ed Chua and DICT USec Jocelle Batapa-Sigue presented the 'Digital Champion Award'.

 

The award highlights the city government's efforts to embrace digital tools in enhancing good governance and citizens' participation, Atty. Raagas said. (CIO)
