The Local School Board (LSB) of Cagayan de Oro kicked off its monthly meeting on Friday, Nov. 29, presided over by co-chair City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Roy Angelo Gazo, by approving four key resolutions at the City Mayor's Office Conference Room.

 

These resolutions include the allocation to fund implementation of teacher and administrator training programs, along with the Best Teachers Implementor Awards 2024.

 

The board also approved the allocation for the payment of terminal leave benefits to three retiring non-teaching personnel from elementary and secondary education.

 

In addition, the LSB endorsed the allocation for the Personnel Motivation Incentive (PMI) of 105 non-teaching staff under the Special Education Fund.

 

This initiative, in line with the city government’s Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE), seeks to acknowledge exemplary contributions to educational administration and support services. (MDS/CIO/Photos by: Rod Constantino/CIO)
