Cagayan de Oro City Hall hosted a special Carbo Loading Dinner on Friday, Nov. 29, at the City Tourism Hall for the participants of the upcoming Milo Marathon.
Speaking in behalf of Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, City Administrator Roy Hilario Raagas, warmly welcomed the qualifiers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
During the press conference, the Milo Marathon organizers revealed that the Milo King and Queen would each receive ₱60,000, an opportunity to participate in the Sydney Marathon and a trophy.
The December 1 event, serving as the National Finals, will feature top runners from across the Philippines competing for athletic glory.
The event organized in partnership with the Milo Co. highlighted the city's commitment to promoting health and fitness.
