In an effort to clear the población area, including the national highway against illegal parking, the motorcycle reaction team (MRT) of the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) issued on Wednesday (March 12) 90 unattended and traffic citation tickets to drivers of motorcycles, motorelas, tricabs, private and public vehicles.

 

Traffic citation tickets should be settled at city hall within 72 hours from the date of apprehension. Failure to pay within the period is subject to filing of a criminal complaint in court pursuant to Ordinance No. 10551-2007, otherwise known as ‘Traffic Code of Cagayan de Oro’.

 

While unattended tickets should be settled at the RTA main office within 72 hours. Otherwise, it will be forwarded to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) for tagging and settlement before renewal. (CIO/RTA photos)
