ORGANIZERS of the Sinag Liga Asya (SLA) basketball tournament were thankful to Cagayan de Oro City Hall under Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy’s leadership for their support during their courtesy visit to the mayor’s office at past 2 pm Thursday (July 10).

 

The SLA organizers also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Carmen Captain Raineir Joaquin 'Kikang-KapKik' Uy for his strong support of the SLA-Junior World Showcase (Mindanao Cup). They told Mayor Klarex that they are looking forward to bring more tournaments in Cagayan de Oro under the SLA banner in the future.

 

The organizers said this signifies the start of a stronger partnership aimed at nurturing athletes and building a deeper love for sports among the city’s youth.

 

Mayor Klarex was also thankful for being part of the SLA Mindanao Cup and reaffirmed his support for the event.
