A team sent by Cagayan de Oro City Hall’s Regulatory Compliance Board (RCB) joined the peace and order campaign conducted by the barangay council of Barangay Nazareth headed by its Barangay Captain Atty. Regine Rodriguez at Tomas Saco St., on Friday (Aug 15).
The operation was also joined by teams from the Land Transportation Office (LTO-10), Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA), and Police Precinct 9, led by precinct chief Police Maj. Romel S. Ejem.
The RCB team inspected several commercial establishments in the area and reminded operators not to play loud music between midnight and 5 a.m. as per codified ordinance 4373-94, chapter 142, section 614.
Several bao-baos (tri-cabs) were also impounded for being used to fetch passengers along with motorcycles whose riders had no proper documents for their vehicles./Text and photos by Reynan Baylin
