In celebration of World Patient Safety Day, the city-owned JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) Patient Safety Office conducted a lecture series on infant/child care for Cagayan de Oro City’s health care professionals on Thursday (Sept 4).

 

With this year’s theme: “Safe Care for Every Newborn and Child” and a slogan “Patient Safety from the Start.”, the lecture was delivered by Dr Jeffrey I. Lappay, Pediatric Neurologist from NMMC and a visiting consultant of JRBGH.

 

Participants consisted of representatives from different hospitals units in the city like nurses, ward-men, utility, office staffs and nursing attendants.

 

The lecture series is aimed at providing updates on safer care for every child and newborn. It will resume on Sept. 9 and 11 at Event Hall, 4th Floor, West Wing Building, JRBGH. (DYM/CIO/Photos by PSO Jrbgh Fb page)
