CAGAYAN de Oro City Hall through its Community Improvement Division (CID) signed an agreement on Monday (Sept. 8 ) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and First Community Cooperative (FICCO) for the Hope Springs Project.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held in which women under the care of the Centers and Residential Care Facilities (CRCF) of the DSWD will undergo training in food production of native baked goods and coffee brewing to facilitate livelihood opportunities for them.
City Hall officials led by City Administrator Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas—who represented Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy—and the CID team headed by their Department Manager Honorio G. Diputado attended the ceremony.
