ABOUT 62 couples tied the knot during the 'Kasalan ng Bayan' officiated by Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy on Saturday (Sept. 13) at the City Central School Gymnasium.

 

The couples came from Barangays 1 to 40, with one couple from Barangay Consolacion and another traveling all the way from Barangay Besigan.

 

Mayor Klarex shared his advice for a lasting marriage, saying, 'Ang sekreto sa usa ka lig-on nga panag-uban sa kaminyoon usa lang, ang pagpaubos sa matag-usa.' (The secret to a strong marriage is simple: mutual humility.)
