Northern Mindanao marks 202 positive COVID-19 cases as of July 5

Region 10 (Northern Mindanao) now has 202 COVID-19 Positive Cases (from January 31 to July 5). Out of the 202 positive cases, 168 came from Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) or Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs).

Cagayan de Oro City alone now marks 61 positive cases; 40 of which are LSIs/ROFs.

Based on the latest figures, the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) attends to 21 COVID-19 patients; of which, 9 are from CDO.

Here's the breakdown of positive cases per area:
•Bukidnon - 31
•Camiguin - 4
•Lanao del Norte - 42
•Misamis Occidental - 29
•Misamis Oriental - 18
•Cagayan de Oro City - 61
•Iligan City - 17

All those areas are under the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). This status is the transition phase between GCQ and New Normal when the following temporary measures are relaxed and become less necessary: (1) limiting movement and transportation, (2) the regulation of operating industries, and (3) the presence of uniformed personnel to enforce community quarantine protocols.
