THE city-owned JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) joined the nationwide celebration of Medical Technology Week 2025 which carried the theme ‘The Green Healthcare Revolution: Filipino Medical Technologists for a Sustainable Future.’

 

The event’s guest speaker—Ronnel S. Mabasa, Blood Bank Supervisor of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC)—discussed the topic ‘Blood Cold Chain’ which drew Medical Technology (MedTech) students from various schools in the city.

 

JRBGH staff actively participated in the program organized by the JRBGH Laboratory Department, led by Clarice C. Pavillan, RMT.

 

Aside from the symposium, attendees also benefited from free health services such as blood typing, RBS, cholesterol, uric acid, and hemoglobin testing.(DYM/CIO/Photos by JRBGH)
