THE city-owned JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) together with the Department of Health—Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao (DOH-CHDNM) and partner medical institutions hosted the celebration of World Patient Safety Day 2025 on Wednesday (Sept.17) at Magsaysay Park in Divisoria, Cagayan de Oro City.

 

The city’s healthcare professionals join City Hall and DOH-10 officials in attending the lighting of the Magsaysay Monument that signified solidarity in promoting patient safety among all health systems.

 

With its theme ‘Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child’ and the slogan “Patient Safety from the Start’, the celebration also included lectures on best practices for neonatal and pediatric care hosted by JRBGH. (DYM/CIO/Photos by Reynan Baylin/CIO)
