CAGAYAN de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy thanked all stakeholders who helped make this year’s Higalaay Festival a success during Friday’s (Sept. 19) ‘Salamat Higala (Thank You Friend)’ program held at the City Tourism Hall.

 

The simple thanksgiving program which began in the afternoon was facilitated by the City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office.

 

Mayor Klarex was joined by City Hall officials in giving plaques of appreciation to private sector partners, City Hall departments, local media outlets, the vloggers community, event organizers, student press and officials/representatives of national government agencies.

 

Among the city officials in attendance were City Councilor Gilda ‘Gigi’ Go, the mayor’s chief of staff and Higalaay Festival co-chairperson Sheila Lumbatan, Sangguniang Kabataan Federation (SK) President and Councilor Kenneth John Sacala and City Administrator Atty.
