JRBGH HONORED BY DOH-10 FOR HOSPITAL OPERATIONS, ECO-FRIENDLY PRACTICES

THE city-owned J.R. Borja General Hospital (JRBGH) received two honors given by the Department of Health (DOH-10) regional office during their 2025 Regional Harmonized Awarding program held on Wednesday (Oct. 15) in one of the city’s hotels.
 
Led by their Chief of Hospital Dr. Michael June C. Perez, JRBGH emerged as top performer for northern Mindanao/Region 10 and won two awards, one of which is Best in Integrated Hospital Operations and Management Program (IHOMP) with an accomplishment rating of 95.75 percent.
 
JRBGH also topped the DOH Green Viability Assessment (GVA) by earning Five Green Stars and a 96.36 percent rating, the highest among all public and private hospitals in northern Mindanao. Dr. Perez and top city health officials presented these awards to Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy on Thursday (Oct. 16).
 
Through Dr. Perez’s leadership and the efforts of the GVA and IHOMP Committees, JRBGH upholds its commitment to quality, innovation and eco-friendly healthcare in advancing its mission of delivering compassionate and sustainable service for a healthier Northern Mindanao.
