CAGAYAN de Oro City Hall under Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy’s administration voiced their support to the launch of the national government’s Grab Asenso: A Digital Diskarte Program in support of the city's micro, small to medium enterprises (MSMEs).

 

City Hall consultant Bernie Deatras said the Klarex administration recognizes the critical importance of MSMEs in sustaining the city's economy which aligns with its RISE development framework that emphasizes Economic Recovery and Public-Private Partnerships.

Grab Philippines representatives, including Paula Catanghal (Deputy Head for Cities) and Paul Manapat (Regional Manager) also lent their support to the program which provides local merchants with practical digital tools like the in-app AI co pilot and cashless solutions for upskilling their businesses in order to become competitive and future-ready./Text and photos by Kim Zaldivar
