THE City Management Information Systems and Innovation Department (CMISID) conducted system updates and a second-round dry run of the Building Permit Management System of the Office of the Building Official (OBO) on Wednesday (Nov. 26).
The CMISID’s Software Development and Database Management Division used actual OBO records for the dry run that’s aimed at streamlining permit processing, improve data accuracy, and enhance public service delivery through digital innovation.
The CMISID demonstrated new system features, workflow improvements and facilitated hands-on training for OBO staff. Feedback was also gathered to ensure the system’s smooth implementation and optimal use.
This initiative reinforces City Hall’s commitment to smarter, faster and more efficient e-governance solutions for the community.(DYM/CIO/Photos courtesy of CMISID)
