Rotary Youth City Information Officer Ray Xavier Aba concluded his one-week immersion at the City Information Office (CIO) today, November 27.

 

Earlier this week, before completing his Rotary Youth Week duties, Aba met with Acting City Information Officer Jade Adeser to formally introduce himself as the CIO counterpart. Adeser, along with the entire CIO staff, welcomed Aba and gave him a tour of the office to provide a firsthand look at the day-to-day operations of the department.

 

During his immersion, Aba joined the team in covering various city programs and events, giving him direct exposure to the work involved in public information and local government communication.

 

Rotary Youth Week is a one-week youth exposure program at City Hall under the annual initiative of the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro. Its purpose is to allow participants to personally observe and experience the duties and responsibilities of the city’s senior officials.
