CITY TOURISM OFFICE CONDUCTS TWO-DAY ORIENTATION FOR TOURISM BUSINESS OWNERS

A TWO-DAY orientation on virtual business permit pre-registration was opened by the City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (CTCAO) for the city’s tourism business owners on Thursday (Nov. 27).
 
The CTCAO headed by Acting City Tourism Officer Mark Kenneth Jalapadan conducted the orientation through their Standards, Regulation, and Training (SRT) Division and Planning Division to enable primary tourism enterprise business owners on the processes and requirements of agencies and City Hall in acquiring licenses, accreditations, permits, clearances, and certifications.
 
CTCAO SRT Division Head Atty. Spencer Palen said City Hall wants to simplify and streamline processes in compliance with the Local Government Code, city ordinances, tourism standards, the Ease of Doing Business Act, and other tourism-related issuances.
 
Joining the orientation were resource persons from agencies such as the Department of Tourism regional office (DOT-10), Bureau of Fire Protection, Office of the Building Official, City Health Office, City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office, Regulatory and Compliance Board, Business Permit and Licensing Division.(AGP/Photos by CTCAO)
