A SECOND batch of freshman and third year scholars of Cagayan de Oro City Hall are scheduled to receive their quarterly allowance covering the months of August to October at Lourdes College Auditorium on Thursday, Dec. 4.

 

The initial batch of scholars received their quarterly allowances at the Barangay Nazareth Gymnasium the day before. Similar to yesterday, the scholars were divided into three groups of whom each received the following quarterly allowances:

 

* University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) scholars received an allowance of P3,500 per month;

 

* City scholars from hinterland barangays received a monthly allowance of P1,500;

 

* City scholars residing in the city proper received a monthly allowance of P1,000.
