CAGAYAN de Oro City Hall through their Community Improvement Division headed by Honorio G. Diputado Jr. affirmed their support to the first Coconut Farmers’ Regional Summit held in one of the city’s malls in Barangay Lapasan.

 

The three-day summit which opened on Tuesday (Dec. 9) and runs until Thursday (Dec. 11) carries the theme ‘Strengthening Coconut Farmers Cooperatives through Unity, Innovation, and Empowerment.’

 

The CID through their Cooperative Development Program coordinator Rodger M. Zerna met with the city’s cooperative leaders, farmers, government partners, and stakeholders to reintroduce innovative practices and unlock new economic pathways and partnerships with the city’s coconut farming sector.
