ARTA’S NORMIN TEAM CONDUCTS ASSESSMENT OF CITY HALL FRONTLINE SERVICES

Written by NLB
A TEAM sent by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA)—Northern Mindanao regional office conducted their annual inspection of frontline services at various City Hall offices on Monday, January 19.

This year, the inspection team focused on key high-traffic departments, such as:

• The Business Permits and Licensing Division (BPLD), to evaluate the effectiveness of the electronic Business One-Stop Shop (eBOSS) during this peak renewal season;

• The Office of the City Building Official (OBO), to monitor the implementation of the One-Stop Shop for Construction Permitting (OSCP);

• The City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) Department, for social services delivery; and

• The City Civil Registry for civil documentation.

The move is part of the agency's monitoring to ensure local government adherence to Republic Act 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. (NLB/CIO/photos by Jomar Figuracion and Roel Felicitas/CIO)
