About Us:

The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department performs any and all actions aimed at reducing the exposure and vulnerability of elements at risk; preparing the residents to minimize the risk before, during, and after the occurrence of hazards in their community; saving lives and preventing unnecessary loss of lives and needless sufferings; ensuring survival of people being affected by on-going disaster(s); stabilizing the situation as rapidly as possible and re-establishing essential services; restoring and rehabilitating disaster stricken area(s); and bringing the population back to normal and better life.

• Non-Emergency Transport (within and outside Cagayan de Oro City)
• Issuance of Certification for Disaster and Calamity Victims (Insurance claims)
• Technical Assistance in the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Plan formulation: (Hazard Assessment, Vulnerability Assessment, Exposure Assessment and Resource and Capability Assessment)
