Klarex open to incentives, intensified grassroots vax drive

If need be, Cagayan de Oro City Hall will provide incentives to Kagay-anons to encourage them to complete their vaccination against COVID-19, Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy said on Friday.

 

‘If we need to, I may consider providing rice or food to encourage Kagay-anons to secure their vaccination (pending support from the City Council). We have to encourage them to get vaccinated so they can resume their lives normally (and move more easily) especially since we’re celebrating our city fiesta next month,’ Mayor Klarex said in Visayan during his RISE Cagayan de Oro radio program.
