A team from Davao City-based Tebow Cure Hospital met with City Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy and the City Social Welfare and Development and City Health Office on Thursday, March 3, 2023, to discuss their planned patient screening activity on April 21.
According to Rosemarie Baco, Tebow Cure's director of hospital and field work operation, they will conduct a patient screening activity in barangays in Cagayan de Oro to select children with orthopedic, cleft lip palate, and the hernia who will be sent to the hospital in Davao City for free operation and treatment.
"Wala mi nag-limit basta i-schedule lang gyud namo sila kay dili mi nagadawat og walk-in," Baco said.
With its partnership with the City Government, Baco said the hospital is responsible for the patients' surgery cost, take-home medicines, and post-operative care.
The City Government, on the other hand, will only need to assist in patients’ transportation to the hospital, which is located along J.P. Laurel Ave, Agdao in Davao City. (JAS/CIO)
