Mindanao champions from 18U and collegiate teams will square off in the 2nd Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy Invitational Basketball Cup, August 25-26, 2023, at the Xavier University Gymnasium this city. Admission is free.

 

The opening ceremonies shall commence at 4pm, followed by the first game wherein Meljohn's Tailoring (Malaybalay City) will face off with Basoy (Mis-Or selection).

 

Southern Philippines College Sharks tackle against City College of El Salvador in the second game, while Higalas (Team CDO-18U) clash with Rhilapz Notbal'z, and the Crusaders of Xavier - Ateneo de Cagayan lock horns with the Rhinos of Iligan Medical Center College to cap off day one of the tournament.

 

The winners will advance the next day to battle it out and be crowned as king of the hardcourt for the 2nd Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy Invitational Basketball Cup as these champions from Mindanao will go all out for school pride and representing their respective cities and region.
