Cagayan de Oro City warmly welcomed the 2nd Mindanao Tourism Expo 2024 (MTEX2024) with a grand opening ceremony graced by esteemed dignitaries.
Department of Tourism Secretary Cristina Garcia Frasco led the inaugural event, joined by CDO City Mayor Rolando "Klarex" Uy, Vice Mayor Jocelyn "Bebot" Rodriguez, and Misamis Oriental Governor Peter "Sr. Pedro" Unabia, alongside other municipal and city officials from across Mindanao.
The expo, a platform aimed at promoting Mindanao's diverse tourism offerings, showcases the region's rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural landscapes, and vibrant local communities.
With a focus on sustainable tourism practices, MTEX2024 seeks to highlight Mindanao's potential as a premier travel destination while fostering economic growth and community development.
